Reviewing my favorite Face Oils: Blossom Kochar Aroma Magic Beautiful Skin Oil & Sensitive Skin Oil.

Recently I suffered from really bad skin infection and rashes and I had to rush to a dermatologist. And it was my dermatologist who suggested me that I start using face oils all year round, yes! even in summers. Honestly the thought of using oils on my face makes me scared of having breakouts but I still thought I would give face oils a chance.

As I was using oil on my face for the very first time, I did not want to invest thousands of rupees on something I was not very sure about. I had an idea in my mind that I would mix a drop or two of some good essential oil in my moisturizer and hopefully that would be good enough. While surfing through essential oils in my favourite drugstore here in Imphal, I found really pretty looking bottles of skin oil on the shelf. And every bottle was dedicated to particular skin type, the price was right and the cherry on top it was by Blossom Kochar. I thought I will give the face oil for ‘Sensitive Skin’ a try as I had already suffered from skin problems a few days back.

Application – Apply 4 to 5 drops on face and neck morning and evening.

Packaging – It comes in very beautiful glass small bottle with wooden screw cap on it which gives it a very vintage look. The dispenser dispenses just the right amount of oil. The size of the bottle makes it travel friendly and the oil does not leak even if the bottle is not upright. It was the packaging that caught my eyes in the first place.

– My Verdict –

The very first day I thought of using it in my night routine and as suggested by my doctor, this oil was the very first thing I slathered on my face after cleansing and toning. My skin absorbed it pretty soon leaving a silky feeling and I woke up with a healthy glow. With almost a week of use I was already in love with it. With the dropping temperatures here, the heaters have been on for most of the time and yet I don’t feel any stretchiness or dryness. The oil did not aggravate on my skin rashes, rather it has helped in lightening the pimple marks and hasn’t caused any further skin breakout.

A 5/5 for me!

Definitely re-buying!! <3

Yes I loved this oil a lot but I need a little lighter oil for my day routine. And that is where I got myself this Blossom Kochar Beautiful Skin oil.

– My Verdict –

Though my skin had already been used to oils by now I still felt that I needed a little more lighter oil for day time. I have always kept heavy creams for my night care routine and it had worked very well for me. So this beautiful skin oil although being a combination of so many plant oils was suggested by my doctor for my day time routine and I was amazed to find out how light it was on skin. This is the first thing I apply on my face after washing it and I love the velvety feel as an after effect. My nose and cheek area is reddish and oily and this oil has balanced out the skin very well in that area.

A 4.5/5 for this one too! And definitely a rebuy.

My perception of using oils on face has definitely changed for good and Blossom Kochar never seems to dissapoint you when it come to trying her products. She also has ‘Dry Skin Oil’ and ‘Oily Skin Oil’ in her list of products and I am sure they are worth a try and affordable too! 🙂

That’s all for today… Stay gorgeous! Smile! And keep Glowing!

xoxo
